I co-founded Nexxus Systems International in 1999 with my wife Lorraine Young which was acquired 2004. I worked for Readify (www.readify.net) as a Principal Consultant until late 2009. I now work for DotNetNuke Corp :)

I am a founding member of the DotNetNuke Core Team, A DotNetNuke Trustee, a Microsoft Certified Application Developer, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and I am experienced in the development and commercial application of the DotNetNuke Framework based on Microsoft’s .NET technology. I have successfully developed and implemented sites for clients in Australia and overseas and was awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award in ASP/ASP.NET in 2004.

Some of the high profile DNN sites I have worked on are www.nrl.com and www.afl.com.au and www.bigpondsport.com.  These sites all run on DNN and are the largest DNN installations in the world that we (DNN Core) know of.

I speak at quite a few technology conferences and .NET User Groups. I am a regular presenter at the Australian and Melbourne .Net Developers meetings and recently helped Jordan Knight and Mahesj=h Krishnan form the Silverlight Designers and Developers Network www.sddn.org.au. 

I attended Tech Ed 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009.  This year I presented a session in the Green Interactive Theatre on Building DotNetNuke Silverlight Modules.  I have also been to MIX three times in Las Vegas and to Open Force also in Vegas.  I have presented at ReMIX twice as well.

Part of my role in the DotNetNuke Core Team is to be an evangelist for DotNetNuke. This is something I take a lot of pleasure in as promoting such a cool and advanced application such as DotNetNuke is a pleasure.

I am married to Lorraine Young who is also a Core Team Member for DotNetNuke.  We have been together for over 11 years, and now have a lovely daughter Allegra Rose! 

I live in Ashburton Victoria and love living here.  Its a great spot good vibe to the area and plenty of facilities and I have a gate into the park behind my house.  Someone told me there were 3400 registered restaurants in Melbourne which is a good ratio for just under 3 million people. 

This is how great Lorraine is. The Harley Davidson Fat Boy you see below is my birthday present from Lorraine :)  How's that for a great wife!

I also like playing around with Ableton Live creating music and mashing up tunes in my lounge room.
