This Wacom Tablet is very nice to use. The inking is great and it understands my handwriting very well. It's a lot like paper with the crossing out and correcting.

This just came through the Readify email list  Loved it.  Thanx to Marc Ridey

"At a recent computer software engineering course in the US, the participants were given an awkward question to answer:

"If you had just boarded an airliner and discovered that your team of programmers had been responsible for the flight control software, how many of you would disembark immediately?"

Among the ensuing forest of raised hands only one man sat motionless. When asked what he would do, he replied that he would be quite content to stay on board. With his team's software, he reasoned, the plane was unlikely to even taxi as far as the runway, let alone take off."

I just received a WACOM Graphire 4.  A bunch of MVPs were given one to try out and Blog about.  I had one of thes before but couldnt get the hang of it.  This new one is a much better design, its like a big mouse pad with a pen.

I am using it in conjunction with a mouse and have tried out the new inking features in Vista (RC2) and Office 2007 (Beta 2 Technical Refesh). so for so good.

l am actually writing this biog post with the hand writing tool. its actually quite easy to use.(like the way that te tablet is a representation any the screen and when you place te pen one tablet the mouse pointerjumps straight there.

So for so good. Next is to tryout some drawing apps.

the erase is really good and tee way tee tnadwntng comedy is goes as well

Recently I have been getting more concerned about climate change and what was being done about it.  After everal discussions with friends and colleagues I have decided to start a new site called HiTechAndGreen.  The idea is to start a community of people who are interested in learning more about the subject and geting them to Blog on the site what they have learned and how they have changed parts of their life to be more green.

I read an article a few weeks back about Movember after Lorraine showed it to me.  Its a fun way to raise awareness of men's health issues by growing a Moustache.  I thought it was such a good idea I have assembled a team of Mo Bro's at Readify in to the Readify Mo Madness team.

If you would like to sponsor us go to http://www.movember.com.au/au/donate/donate-search.php?galatickets=0 and search for Readify Mo Madness.

Readify has kindly offered to match any amount we raise dollar for dollar which is awesome and shows how Readify really is a great place to work and a great company.

I think this is a fitting image to go on top of the one of my brother-in-law Adrian with his Eagles T-shirt on.

It's my 36th birthday today. Lorraine gave me a card that I think is Blog worthy.
