I wanted to make sure everyone knew that the DotNetNuke crew are putting on our first ever conference in Las Vegas in November this year.  We have a site up here http://www.openforce07.com
This event will be the first time that there is an official DotNetNuke conference and as you would expect we have secured all of the top DotNetNuke practitioners from around the world including yours truly.  We are “Super Excited” (Microsoft over used termJ) about this as it shows that DNN has really matured as a product, eco system and community.  As an added bonus attendees also get complete access to DevConnections which will have lots of the cancelled PDC contentJ.  And as an even better added bonus you can win a Harley Davidson as well and we all know how I feel about that!
There are 24 sessions over 3 days that cover Skin Design, Module Development, Site Administration and panel discussions on Open Source and other interesting subjects.  Its cool having a surname starting with B as Im on top of the speakers list too.
So hope to see you there!!!!

Michael Kordahi has knocked up a pretty good blog badge for ReMIX.  I like it

Just got the Speaker invite to do a session at DotNetNuke OpenForce '07.  I will be doing a double up session with Mitchel Sellers on Building DotNetNuke Modules with AJAX and Silverlight.

There are over 100 DNN sessions and 40 speakers so its going to be a big few days of Nuking, so come along and saee what all the fuss is about with DNN.

I just built a sample app that shows how to call a WCF Service from a DNN Module. Check it out. Code is downloadable too from the DotNetNuke page in the Power Downloads module.

I will be presenting at ReMIX in Melbourne June 25th and 26th at the Crowne Casino.  Here's my session description.

What’s new in Visual Studio Orcas for Web Developers (Philip Beadle, Readify, Dave Glover, Microsoft Australia)
See how Visual Studio codename “Orcas” takes Web development to the next level. See a demo-filled tour of all improvements in Visual Studio around ASP.NET and AJAX development. Topics covered include a new standards-based design surface for XHTML and CSS, Intellisense for JavaScript, tools for ASP.NET AJAX, and more.

After having nearly 600 posts wiped when Telligent upgraded the Forums on ASP.Net I have finally got back to the 1000 posts mark.

Philip's mo for Movember

.

I read an article a few weeks back about Movember after Lorraine showed it to me.  Its a fun way to raise awareness of men's health issues by growing a Moustache.  I thought it was such a good idea I have assembled a team of Mo Bro's at Readify in to the Readify Mo Madness team.

If you would like to sponsor us go to http://www.movember.com.au/au/donate/donate-search.php?galatickets=0 and search for Readify Mo Madness.

Readify has kindly offered to match any amount we raise dollar for dollar which is awesome and shows how Readify really is a great place to work and a great company.

Below is how to do an eMOticon :)
